Terms and Conditions

1. You and Us

  • We are Nether Hall Huts: Registered at Nether Hall, Harkstead, Ipswich, Suffolk IP91BX (“Nether Hall Huts,” “we,” “us”).
  • You, the purchaser: Agree to enter into a legally binding contract with us by placing an order for the construction of a shepherd’s hut (“you”).

2. A Helping Hand

  • Assistance Provided: From initial queries to aftercare.

  • Communication: Primarily by telephone or email provided at the time of placing your order.

3. Our Huts

  • Design and Build: Traditional and contemporary shepherd’s huts tailored to your specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Using trusted suppliers and stress-graded framing timber.
  • Customization: Flooring, windows, and doors as per your choice given in your quote.
  • Changes: Small changes may be made to meet safety or statutory requirements, with notification beforehand.

4. Your Order

  • Placement: Visit our workshop or contact us.
  • Quotation: Specification detailing provided once requirements are finalized.
  • Formation of Contract: Upon payment and agreement to the specification.
  • Cancellation: Right to cancel within 14 days of placing the order, with conditions outlined.

5. Completion

  • Timely Completion: Aim to complete within the given timescale, with regular updates provided.
  • Delivery: Your responsibility to discuss delivery once the hut is completed.
  • Base Preparation: Ensure a level and firm base for the Hut, for which we are not responsible.

6. Guarantee

  • Structural Defects: Guaranteed for 10 years from the completion date.
  • Exclusions: Outlined exclusions to the guarantee.

7. Price and Payment

  • Agreed Prices: Prices agreed upon before construction begins.
  • VAT Inclusion: All prices include UK VAT.
  • Quote Changes: May change with design alterations, with additional costs agreed upon before implementation.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment required before your hut leaves Nether Hall.
  • Payment Methods: Specified payment methods and clearing procedures.

8. Other Terms

  • Liability: Our liability and exclusions outlined.
  • Force Majeure: Events beyond our control may affect delivery and performance.
  • Invalid Terms: Terms deemed invalid or unenforceable will be modified or deleted, preserving the rest of the terms’ validity.
  • Dispute Resolution: Disputes subject to the laws and jurisdiction of England and Wales.
